Introduction

Preface

I have been a Railroad Tycoon fan my entire life. My first memories of the game are from when I was 4, at this age I would watch my father play the game on our old Macintosh LC. The Macintosh LC was a computer that we used for 10 years before we got a new computer in 2001. For 10 years the game I played the most was RT1.

To my surprise I found out that there was a new Railroad Tycoon game that had been released. On the internet I found this guide, such a fan I was that I printed the entire thing out.

Fast forward to 2007. The guide is no longer on the internet (http://home.revealed.net/brandonwb/). It was truly an amazing guide to an amazing game. I am keeping a copy of it here for posterity. I no longer play the game as I have moved on to RT3. RT2 does not work on Mac OS X. I would like to raise a toast to the original makers of this guide. Thank you for the guide that has directed my playing of this excellent game.
